Low-Interest Loans to Help Pay Off High-Interest Payday Loans

Get funding to pay off all your debt from payday lenders with a low-interest Pay Day Rescue Loan.

When to apply:

As soon as possible. Funding for this program is limited.

You should apply if you

Are currently a member of DCFCU and live in Miami Dade County.

Have a job and the ability to pay the refinance payments.

Are over the age of 18 and have no history of bankruptcy.

Have payday loan debt of $2,000 or lower that you would like to pay off.

How to get started

After you complete the application, a lender from DCFCU will contact you.

While waiting to be contacted, start collecting all the required documents (listed below) and save as PDF or JPEG files so they are ready when requested.

Information you’ll need to provide

  • Copy of your unexpired ID such as a Driver’s license.
  • Proof of employment such as your recent pay stubs. 
  • Proof of Miami-Dade County Residency.

Helpful tips

  • This program offers individuals with current payday loan debt a low interest loan to pay off high interest payday loan debt.
  • You will need to set up a bank account with DCFCU in order to participate in the program. The loan funds will be deposited in your DCFCU account, and you will have one week to provide a payoff receipt of your payday loan to the credit union.
  • Additional lines of credit and lower rates are available if you attend educational classes offered by the Credit Union.
