Information you’ll need to provide

  • Proof that you are current in your property taxes, like a property tax payment receipt or a mortgage statement showing taxes were paid.
  • Proof of property ownership such as a Warranty Deed, or Quit Claim Deed, or Satisfaction of Mortgage.
  • Proof of Insurance. 
  • Most recent utility bills including water/sewer and FPL.
  • Six most recent bank statements for checking and savings.
  • Current pay stubs and 2019/2020 income tax returns or W2s for all employed household members 18+. 
  • Proof of ID such as driver’s license or passport and social security card for all individuals 18+. For those under 18, you will need to provide a birth certificate or passport and social security card.

Helpful tips

  • This program uses a lottery system. Residents who apply and pre-qualify will then be selected through lottery. The lottery date is still to be determined, but the lottery presentation will be live streamed here.

Locations for paper applications (Available for pick up between 9AM-2PM):

  • Housing & Social Services Department 13753 NW 7 Avenue, North Miami, FL 33168
  • Community Planning and Development Department 12400 NE 8 Avenue, North Miami, FL 33161

Paper application must be dropped off at one of the two locations above. They will not be accepted via email.
