Up to $1,500 Mortgage Relief Assistance for Homeowners in Miami-Dade County

Apply for financial assistance if you need help covering late mortgage payments, late homeowner association (HOA) fees, homeowners insurance, and/or late utility assistance.

When to apply:

As soon as possible, funding is limited.

You should apply if you

Own a home in Miami-Dade County homeowner.

Need help covering payments for your primary residence.

Information you’ll need to provide

Depending on what you’re requesting assistance for, you will need to provide the following:

  • A copy of your mortgage statement showing the balance currently owed on your mortgage. 
  • A copy of your Homeowners insurance statement. 
  • A statement from the homeowner and condominium association showing a balance of fees due. 
  • Past due utility bills (electric or water).

Helpful tips

This program gives priority to applicants who are seniors, disabled, families with children, and households with late mortgages of 3 to 12 months.

You can receive application assistance by visiting one of the Community Resource Centers (CRCs) during regular business hours. (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Note: The Stephen P. Clark Center is not providing assistance.
