The purpose of the HAND (Housing Assistance Network of Dade) Program is to promote housing stability by providing temporary rental assistance for eligible individuals and families who are currently homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless. The HAND Program has been expanded to assist those who have lost their jobs, or have less income, due to the COVID-19 public health emergency and have received notice from their landlord of a plan to file for eviction.

For additional information and eligibility, call the Homeless Helpline (877) 994-4357. After selecting your language of choice, press option #1. A trained prevention specialist will help you with the assessment process.

The helpline is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
