The COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund for Individuals has been created to assist People of Color in the Jewish community who are facing financial hardship or are unable to obtain basic living necessities as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.


One-time cash assistance of $250-$2500 that can be used for:

  • Rent or mortgage payments
  • Transportation to work or medical care
  • Utilities
  • Groceries
  • Medical bills
  • Burial expenses

Open to People of Color in the Jewish community living in the United States, including:

  • People of Color who self-identify as Jewish
  • People of Color who work or have worked for a Jewish communal organization, including full-time staff, hourly or gig workers
  • People of Color affiliated with organizations in the Jewish community, including synagogues, Jewish community centers or Jewish non-for-profit organizations
