  • The application portal will walk you through the information needed to apply.
  • Next, you will be contacted for an interview.
  • If the case manager needs any additional information to process your application, they will let you know.

Helpful tips

  • You can use this cash to buy breads, cereals, fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, poultry, dairy, and plants and seeds to grow food for your household to eat. 
  • You can NOT use this cash to buy nonfood items such as pet foods, soaps, paper products, household supplies, grooming items, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, vitamins, medicines, food to eat in the store, or hot foods.
  • It takes about 30 minutes to complete the on-line application.
  • It may take up to 30 days to process your application.
