Feeding South Florida, the region’s largest food bank, offers people in need the opportunity to “shop” at its large, free pantry, plus assistance in applying for public benefits, and home delivery of food for those who qualify. Miami Pandemic Response Fund

United Way of Miami-Dade

United Way of Miami-Dade and the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald, in partnership with the Health Foundation of South Florida, The Miami Foundation and Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, have activated Operation Helping Hands, an emergency response initiative to raise funds and recruit volunteers to help with crisis recovery and relief efforts. The Fund will support struggling families with emergency needs including rent/mortgage assistance, food, medication, utilities as well as issue micro-grants to small businesses.
