Miami-Dade County is offering a $5 million forgivable loan program to help small businesses facing immediate financial threats as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. The loans will be up to $25,000 with no interest or origination fees.
As part of the CARES Act, the SBA, the federal agency that provides support to small businesses and entrepreneurs across America, is offering loans to help businesses cover their day-to-day expenses because the COVID-19 crisis has affected their normal ability to do so.
As part of the federal CARES Act, the U.S. Small Business Administration is providing forgivable loans of up to $10 million per company to provide cash-flow assistance to employers who maintain their payroll during this emergency, help workers remain employed and enable affected small businesses to snap back after the crisis.
