$50,000 Grant to Women or Minority-Owned Businesses in Miami

Apply to receive a grant of $50,000, consulting services, advertisement at Miami Heat games, and endorsements to advance your small business.

When to apply:

The deadline to apply is July 11, 2022.

You should apply if you

Your business has been operating for a minimum of 1 year or you can show projected annual revenue of $500,000 (maximum $5 million).

Your business is 51% female or minority-owned with less than 500 full-time employees.

Have not been in bankruptcy for the past 5 years. (This applies to the business and the business owner)

Information you’ll need to provide

  • Details about your business including business name, EIN, number of employees, and website.
  • Business owner information including name, title, Social Security number, resume, and government issued ID. 
  • Two years of the most recent business tax returns.
  • A presentation that expands on detailed activity of your business and makes a case for why you should be awarded the grant, what you will be using funds for, and how it would benefit your business.
  • A document listing all business owners (if there is more than one).
  • A Video application that goes over things mentioned in your presentation noted above. (this is not required but could possibly give you an advantage).

Helpful tips

  • This program’s goal is to enrich the Miami-metro area by focusing on business in the food, retail and hospitality industries.
  • If awarded the grant, be prepared to include an FTX badge into the design of your company website and integrate FTX Pay into your e-commerce platform. This is a requirement of the program. 
  • You will also be asked to provide access for FTX & The Udonis Haslem Foundation to capture content that highlights the grants impact for promotional purposes.
