The Sephardic Foundation on Aging is providing grants to U.S. nonprofit organizations to assist older adults, with an emphasis on the older Jewish community, during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Funding is intended to support activities that enhance well-being, connections to the community, and social and financial services for the elderly. Requests will be accepted on a rolling basis from qualified nonprofits working to provide senior citizens with direct services in the midst of the global pandemic.

Eligibility

To be considered for funding, organizations must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a nonprofit with a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status or have a fiscal sponsor that has a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status
  • Must be in operation for at least two years

Please note that The Sephardic Foundation on Aging does not support:

  • Individuals
  • Endowments
  • Colleges/Universities
  • Political Organizations/Action Groups
  • Debt reduction
  • Multi-year grant proposals
