Micro Relief Grants for Businesses in North Miami

Short-term working capital assistance up to $1,000 for small businesses in the City of North Miami.

When to apply:

As soon as possible, funding is limited.

You should apply if you

Are a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.

Have a small business operating within the City of North Miami. 

Have no more than ten (10) employees who are within low to moderate income range.

Have not received a CRA grant, City of North Miami Green Rehabilitation or U.S. Small Business Administration grant in the last five (5) Years.

Select the NOMI Regular Business Stabilization Grant and apply.

Information you’ll need to provide

  • Proof of 1 year business establishment. This could be Proof of your Company’s Certificate of Incorporation, Business Income Tax Return, or Copy of Lease agreement.
  • Current City of North Miami Business Tax Receipt.
  • Current City of North Miami Certificate of Use.
  • Proof of need. This could be invoices, purchase orders, or service contracts.
  • The City reserves the right to request additional information about the business and/or business owner(s) that may be needed to process the grant application.

Helpful tips

  • Eligible expenses include inventory, supplies and services (e.g. daily cleaning and sanitizing) needed to reduce the adverse economic impact caused by the pandemic. 
  • If a grant is awarded, payments will be made directly to the business.
