  • Your business, basic information, and how you came up with its product/service
  • Identify the problem your product/service has solved and how
  • How your company provides the product/service

Helpful tips

This program is split into 2 phases. Phase 1's application is due June 3.

  • Phase 1: A national call for all black-owned, founded, or controlled businesses in the United States to apply. You must submit a capability statement and a 3-minute pitch video about your business. Your submission will be reviewed by a panel of judges curated by the National Black Business Pitch and if you are one of the thirty businesses to be selected, you will move to Phase 2
  • Phase 2: You must present your business pitch live in front of a virtual audience with corporate procurement and supplier diversity professionals on August 21. If you are one of the three companies to be chosen during this phase, you will receive a cash prize of up to $10,000.

When you submit your online application, you must include a capability statement and a 3-minute pitch video about your business. The applicant must be your business owner, founder, CEO, or controlling shareholder.
