$25,000 Grant for Black Female Entrepreneurs

Submit a 60-second video about your business for your chance to win a cash grant, free mentorship, and a one-year LinkedIn Premium membership.

When to apply:

As soon as possible. Applications are due April 21, 2023.

You should apply if you

Are 18 years or older. 

Have a business based and operated in the United States and is not currently in distribution at a major retailer. 

Have a business in one of the following categories: fashion, skincare or hair accessories/tools.

Have an existing company website and social media presence.

Information you’ll need to provide

  • A two-page brand deck that includes a one-page executive summary and one-page product overview.
  • A 60-second video that shares more about your brand, purpose, what makes your business different and how you plan to use the grant funds. (Video submissions cannot exceed 10 mb)
  • A high resolution, headshot-type photo.

Helpful tips

  • This program is for businesses that are past the ideation phase with a fully developed product or service with customers, or ready for customers.
  • Applications are judged based on the overall quality of the brand deck. If your product addresses a problem in a creative or innovative way, make sure to include that when describing your mission and business plan. 
  • Six finalists will be selected to pitch their business on May 10, 2023.
