$10,000 Grant & Training for Hispanic-Owned Food Businesses

Apply for business coaching, support, and the opportunity to access a $10,000 grant.

When to apply:

As soon as possible. Applications are due June 16, 2023.

You should apply if you

Self identify as Hispanic.

Own a business in the locations listed below with the primary purpose to serve food.

Have been operational for at least two years (since June 21, 2021).

Have a business bank account and an annual revenue of less than $1,000,000.‍

How to get started

If you receive an invitation to complete the accelerator program, you will receive one-on-one coaching.

Businesses must complete two one-on-one sessions and two additional engagements to receive the $10,000 grant.

Information you’ll need to provide

  • In addition to the application, businesses must submit their most recent business tax returns. 
  • If the business files a Schedule C, please submit all pages of the personal 1040 tax return.
  • A front-and-back color copy of the business owner’s ID. Multiple options are accepted. 
  • You do not have to be a US Citizen to apply. You will not be asked to provide any information indicating your immigration status. 
  • All pages of the most recent business bank statement.

Helpful tips

  • The following locations and the surrounding Counties are eligible to apply: Albuquerque, Chicago, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, or San Antonio. 
  • For Miami, you can apply if your business is located in Broward, Miami-Dade, or Palm Beach County. 
  • Restaurants, caterers, cafés, food trucks, bodegas, and carnicerias are encouraged to apply. 

Businesses that are selected will receive the following: 

  • One-on-one and group coaching
  • Virtual and in-person events
  • Trusted digital business resources
  • $10,000 small business grant
