Up to $500 Micro-Grants for Women Entrepreneurs

Get up to $500 to improve and strengthen your business.

When to apply:

As soon as possible, the deadline for this grant is April 30, 2024.

You should apply if you

Are a woman aged 18 and up.  

Are an individual, small business, for-profit or non-profit entity.

Applicants from any field are encouraged to apply: education, the environment, promoting democracy, healthcare, cooking, etc. However your business/organization MUST be legal. 

Your business/organization/idea must have an impact on women, girls and families.

After you submit your online application, a representative from Giving Joy may reach out to you for additional information and/or to clarify your answers. They may also ask for photos of you and your business/organization.

Information you’ll need to provide

  • Basic contact information including your name, email, and phone number. 
  • Website, social media, and Skype information for your business. (Optional)
  • Brief description about yourself. 
  • Brief description of your business/organization or your idea for a new business/organization.
  • Brief description of the social benefit and/or impact your business/organization has. 
  • Brief explanation of how you would use the grant funds if awarded.

Helpful tips

  • You do not have to own a business to apply. You can use the grant to start a new business, or expand your existing business.
  • Multiple grant rounds are offered each year.
